Insights into our café and the cake mastery

Café Czudaj – in Lübeck for 30 years

The Czudaj story began on December 16, 1988, almost 36 years ago! Dagmar and Peter Czudaj moved to Kronsforder Allee 48a. At that time, a flower shop separated the café from the bakery. The young couple opened on January 2, 1989, and quickly gained a foothold. Year after year, master pastry chef Czudaj impressed customers with his ever-expanding variety of cakes.
 
When the florist left Kronsforder Allee in the summer of 1998, the couple didn’t hesitate for long! With pride, they opened the larger and more beautiful Café Czudaj pastry shop, and in 2002, their daughter Nora Czudaj joined the pastry shop with her journeyman’s certificate. Six years later, she took over the business. In 2009, Café Czudaj moved to its current location on Klingenberg. Here, the tradition is lovingly continued. Until now!
